
We have a full schedule this week in athletics. Good luck to our Junior High Basketball Indians as they start their season off on Wednesday. We also want to wish Brooke-lyn Forman and Garrett Hopke luck as they compete at that State Cross Country Meet on Friday. As well, good luck to our Football Indians as they play their first district game at home on Saturday @ 1pm.


Due to the rescheduling of the community Truck or Treat, the JH Haunted House will also be rescheduled for November 4th from 5-7 pm. Thanks!

Our cross country team competed at the district meet today and did great despite the weather change! Congratulations to Senior Brooke-lyn Forman and Freshman Garrett Hopke for earning All-District and a chance to compete at the state race next Friday! 🖤💛

Our Junior High Student Council is hosting a Haunted House along with the community Trunk or Treat on October 29, 2023 at the Vandalia Fairgrounds. We're excited our students and Mrs. Ulrich wanted to give this opportunity to the children of our community!

Our Board of Education honored our students during their meeting last Thursday evening. Students were honored for a variety of reasons from all-conference and all-district honors to media recognition to students of the month! Thank you to our students and family members who joined us for this celebration!

The Farmer's Cup is on the line tonight as our Indians wrap up the regular season against the Tigers of Mark Twain. Come out and support our athletes as they continue to make great accomplishments this season. We look forward to a great night of football in our Pink Out Night match up.

Arthur Center Community Health Mobile Unit will not be coming 10/18/2023. If you need to be seen please call (573) 582-1234 if you need to be seen as they have transportation. They will be back next week, 1025 at 9am.

Friday students from the high school who aspire to join the medical field, visited Tomorrow's Health Care Experts Expo hosted by MU Health Care. Mrs. Utterback organized this opportunity for the kids. They learned from amazing hands-on experiences and found out what level of education some roles in the medical field require versus others. Thank you to all who made this possible for our students!

Members of our FCA chapter joined other chapters in Bowling Green last night for Fields of Faith. Members had worship on the football field with music from students from HLGU and area students and administrators shared.






Students in Mrs. Snell's Tribe Time are creating their own Halloween stories!


Beginning tomorrow (10/11) and every Wednesday after, the Arthur Center will be providing mobile pediatric services from 9am until 1pm. Services will include well child check (with immunizations) and acute health needs. Appointments can be made by calling the Arthur Center to schedule ahead of time. 573-581-1212 extension 1055. The unit will be at Van-Far Elementary School between the school and new building. Services are open to any child (birth through age 18).
