Preschool, Kindergarten, and New Student registration begins today. If you have a preschool student, kindergarten student, or are new to our community and need to enroll your child in school, stop by the elementary school (PK-6th grade) or the high school (7th-12th grade) to start the registration process. In order to be eligible for preschool, your child must be 4 years old as of July 31, 2023. Preschool spaces are limited and a screening will need to be scheduled. When all spaces are filled, we will add families to our waiting list. To be kindergarten eligible, your child must be 5 years old as of July 31, 2023. Join us at 6:30, under the pavilion at Tri-County Park, for popsicles before our swim party. Come and meet our Dean of Students, Amy Newland. We are looking forward to seeing everyone as we prepare to kick off the 23-24 school year.
Don't forget our Back to School Swim Party is tomorrow evening, August 8, from 7:00-9:00. This event is for students and families in the Van-Far School District. We hope to see you!

Join us for our Open House on August 17, from 4:00-6:00, at both the elementary and high school buildings. At 6:00, there will be an orientation for those students going into 7th grade. We can't wait to see you!

Summer athletics wrapped up on Friday and we honor MSHSAA Dead Week this week. Enjoy your week and make good choices and be safe!
This summer our Indians Football Team has been busy. This team put in work in the weight room, participated in 7 on 7 competitions, hosted a youth camp, worked on skills, and did community service. We are proud of the work that this group has done and we are excited to see them back on the field this fall. Thank you to the athletes for putting in the work and thank you to Coach Gibson, Coach Gshwender, and Coach Utterback for providing these opportunities for our athletes.

This will be the last week for our Summer Athletics. High School Athletics will start first practices for Fall on August 7th and Junior High will start August 14th. Please get with corresponding coaches for information on schedules. Also, a reminder that all athletes and marching band members have to have up to date physicals in order to participate.

Our cheerleaders have been working hard all summer participating in camp and practices. We are excited to see all of the hard work that this squad has put in as they lead us in cheering for our Indians. Thank you to Coach Carlyle and Coach Bauman for providing our athletes with these opportunities.
