This will be the last week for our Summer Athletics. High School Athletics will start first practices for Fall on August 7th and Junior High will start August 14th. Please get with corresponding coaches for information on schedules. Also, a reminder that all athletes and marching band members have to have up to date physicals in order to participate.
Junior High Football Camp is coming next week!
Our cheerleaders have been working hard all summer participating in camp and practices. We are excited to see all of the hard work that this squad has put in as they lead us in cheering for our Indians. Thank you to Coach Carlyle and Coach Bauman for providing our athletes with these opportunities.

It's almost BACK TO SCHOOL time! Join us for a swim party on August 8, from 7:00-9:00, at the Vandalia Family Aquatic Center. This event is for students and families in the Van-Far School District. Come and enjoy as evening together!
The Cross Country team has been busy this summer putting in work to better their personal times as they head into the fall season. Thank you to our two cross country coaches, Coach Cross and Coach Winders on providing these opportunities to our athletes. We look forward to seeing the progress these runners make this coming season.

This summer the Lady Indians got to put in work with new coaches Shaylen Bailey and Caroline James. The Lady Indians have put in work in the weight room, practicing, and they competed in a few summer games in Centralia where they showed a lot of promise going into the fall season. We are excited to see how their hard work is going to pay off this fall!

This summer our High School Boys Basketball Team stayed busy competing in many shootouts and attending open gyms. These gentlemen played hard all summer as they traveled to different high schools to play, as well as, traveling to Northwest Missouri State and ending with a 3 day camp at University of Central Missouri. We look forward to seeing all these athletes' hard work and dedication pay off this winter. Thank you to Coach Connaway and Coach Reading for providing these opportunities for our athletes.

The Lady Indians Basketball Team finished their summer schedule last week. These ladies stayed busy hosting a youth camp, attending open gyms, and competing in many shootouts. We applaud these ladies' hard work and dedication and look forward to the 2023-2024 season. Also, thank you to the Coach Minter and Coach Utterback for providing these opportunities!
