One of our Van-Far Kindergarteners, Lillian Singer, was airlifted to St Louis Children’s hospital in January with stroke-like symptoms. She has not been able to return to school yet and has been going to speech therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. After a recent MRI they have decided that surgery is what is best for Lillian. The high school would like to help by wearing black and gold in support of our fellow Indian and her family on Wednesday, March 2nd. Students may wear a hat on Wednesday with a $1 donation and are welcome to donate more if they wish. Students will give their donation to the office when they arrive Wednesday morning and receive a sticker to wear. Thank you so much for supporting this great family!

Our amazing community members have gathered funds to pay for the first 60 students entry fee to the district game at Sturgeon Saturday. We are offering a pep bus if a student needs a ride that would leave the school lot at noon and return immediately following the game. Students must be in JH/HS, must be in good standing, ride to and from the game on the bus, and sign up with Mrs. Pafford through her email by 6:00 p.m. tonight if you’d like to go. We need a minimum of 15 students to be able to take the bus. My email is kpafford@vf.k12.mo.us. Let’s go Indians!
