Weekly Athletics Schedule and Junior High R6 Tournament Schedule!
We are pleased to welcome Master Sergeant Darrin Haslag from the Missouri Highway Patrol with the Division of Drug and Crime Control to our campus for the next two days. He will share information concerning internet safety for a variety of users. During our day of professional learning, he will work with our junior high and high school staff to help them learn more about what our students might be encountering online. Tomorrow evening at 6:00 p.m. you as parents are invited to visit our school to hear him share information concerning how to keep your children safe from online concerns. He will return to campus on Tuesday to share a similar message with our students. Many times this topic is over our heads as adults, so we are blessed to have an expert who is willing to come share with us! Please make plans to join us Monday evening for a time of learning how we can protect our kids better!

Tonight our Van-Far Indians travel to Perryville to take on the Indians of St. Vincent in a week 12 district contest. Admission to the game is $6 for all ages 6+. Kickoff will be at 7pm. If you are not able to make the drive, the game will be broadcast by Donze Communications out of Perryville. To listen to this broadcast you can download the Donze Communications App from the App Store.

“First Impact – Keeping Your Teen Driver Safe” presentation will be held at the MoDOT NE District Office in the Missouri Room from 6:00 – 7:30 PM on November 30th. This informative session is offered free of charge and is designed to assist parents in mentoring their novice drivers through the pre-permit, permit and license process while also gaining insights into the Graduated Driver’s License (GDL) law.
Parents of the Class of 2024 met with Mrs. Utterback and Mrs. Jones this evening to learn more about what to expect as a senior parent. Thanks to all who attended!

Please join us in celebrating our first student to complete the Jail Officer Academy through the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office! Ashton Dyke successfully completed six days of intense training and earned a position with the Montgomery County Jail. Ashton is a Junior at Van-Far High School and aspires to serve within this capacity following graduation. Congratulations, Ashton! We are so proud of all of your hard work! Thank you for balancing all of this, plus earning excellent grades in our classrooms!

Happy Monday! We wanted to provide a quick update pertaining to the next playoff game for our Indians. The kids will play on Friday evening at St. Vincent at 7:00 p.m.
We are offering a spirit bus for students who wish to attend. This will be capped at 50 and will be open to high school students first, followed by junior high students. Students will be expected to pay for their own tickets and will need to get a permission slip from the office to attend. There will be a sign up sheet on the board across from the office. There is currently a JH basketball game scheduled versus Community, but Coach Elledge is working on a rescheduling date with them in hopes of moving it so the kids can attend if they'd like.
Further details about the game will be released as well have them, but as most realize, playoffs are just that, you play until you're off. Our Indians delivered their best game of the season Saturday at home, but sadly will be on the road from here on out. We'd love to see the stands filled with black and gold next Friday!
We are excited for today and wanted to send one more reminder about details for today, as well as to share that we are NOT able to steam the game today. We are trying to keep up with deleting all of the messages that share links claiming to stream the game, but there are many and we are busy with other details for today. Please do not share information with those links as they are not affiliated with us as a district and we do not believe are steaming our students' game today!

Tomorrow we get to host District Football as our Indians face-off against Chaffee. To meet site specifications per MSHSAA we had to make a few changes. Audrain Rd 557 will be closed at Hwy P (at the Elementary School). The High School parking lot main entrance will also be blocked off to traffic. All traffic will be diverted to Audrian Rd 557 from Hwy 54. Once on Audrain Rd 557 please follow signs for admission gate and directions for parking.
Admission to the game will be $6 for all ages 6+. No passes will be accepted per MSHSAA.
