Online registration is available at this time for all returning Van-Far students. You may access it by logging in to your SIS portal. Once logged it, you will see a highlighted line that states Online Registration to complete. Reminder that New Student Registration is at the high school today from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and tomorrow from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Van-Far Elementary Families, I wanted to give you some information about registration. For existing Van-Far families who were enrolled last year, you will complete your registration online. A link for registration will be emailed to the email address on file tomorrow morning. Preschool students and new students to the district will need to come to the elementary to register. You may come to the elementary August 5, anytime from 8:00-5:00 or August 6, anytime from 8:00-3:00. Any incoming kindergarten student needing to submit documents may come at those times as well. If you do not have internet access at home, you may come to the elementary during the above mentioned times to use our computers and internet. This registration process is very similar to last year, but with a few necessary improvements, hopefully making it easier to complete. For those individuals coming to the school, please use the north entrance (bus loop) of the parking lot. You will enter the first set of doors. Please be mindful of others and distance yourself the best you can. You are encouraged to wear a mask, but it is not mandatory. Have you been to the Tri-County Park lately? If not, you will want to go check out the new book walk. The book walk features a children’s book along the walking trail for your family to enjoy. The current book featured is Crocodile Beat. This is a wonderful opportunity to practice Habit 7 - Sharpen the Saw, by getting exercise and reading. When we sharpen the saw we focus on any of the 4 main areas: body, heart, mind, and soul. The dates for new books to be featured will be August 3, August 24, September 15, and October 5. Be sure to visit the park to see each new book! The book walk was provided by the Vandalia Branch of the Mexico-Audrain County Library District, Friends of the Vandalia Library, and the City of Vandalia. Youth Football will be collecting forms, payment, and handing out equipment on Monday, July 27 at the high school football field. 3rd and 4th grade students need to come from 5:00-6:30 and 5th and 6th grade students from 6:30-8:00. A payment of $75 is required by this date.

Weights and Conditioning for all junior high girls will start July 7th. We will meet on Tuesday and Thursday for the month of July from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the high school weight room.
