On November 7, 2022 the Van-Far R1 Schools hosted its first Facilities Planning committee meeting in the HS Library.
The meeting began at 6pm with 12 people in attendance. The committee meeting was led by John Fortney, superintendent of schools and included a powerpoint presentation that covered the process by which the group would operate and include outside information for the creation of a facilities report that the Board of Education would then prioritize. The meeting ended at 6:37pm.
The next meeting will be November 28 at 6pm in the Elementary Cafeteria where the group will perform a facilites tour and begin the long-range planning process.
