The Van-Far Alumni & Friends will sponsor two scholarships for VF graduates that are sophomores, juniors or seniors and enrolled in an accredited college/university, trade or vocational school. This year the scholarship(s) will be in the amount of $1,000 each.
The Van-Far Alumni and Friends Scholarship will be paid in two equal parts at the first of each semester. Before second semester payment is made, written confirmation from the college must be provided to the Van-Far Alumni Scholarship Committee, that the student is in good standing with the school and will be continuing their education into the second semester of the current term. Scholarship money will be paid directly to the student. In the event that the recipient does not continue with their education, the money will be returned to the scholarship fund.
