Wednesday Announcements

We will continue with MAP testing this week during the day.  We will not have bells during this time.  All hallways need to be as quiet as possible.  Please do not use your locker.  There will be students testing throughout the building.  During passing times, all students need to be respectful of those that are testing and keep the halls as quiet as possible.  Students will still need to be to class on time, we will just be using the clocks instead of bells. 

No Basketball workouts this week.  Coach Minter will let you know when they start back up.

Anyone interested in playing jr. high or high school football next year please sign up at the office.

Seniors: Please make sure to wear your pink senior shirts for the class trip on Thursday. Prior to leaving, we will be retaking our senior group picture. Be in the gym ready to take the picture when the bell rings for school to begin at 7:55. 

ALL SENIORS – MUST have your Fines and fees, lunch accounts, library books paid in full BEFORE you leave on the Senior trip on Thursday, May 12.  

Friday, May 13 – ALL Seniors must be at school by 7:50 am for the group graduation photo.  Bring money with you for a fast food stop for supper.  

Sunday, May 15 for graduation, Seniors must be at school by 1:15 pm and park/drop off on the bus loop.  Mrs. Pafford

JH girls, please bring your track uniforms to Mrs. Winders this week. 

There will be a meeting for all those interested in Cross-country next year on Friday, May 13th at 7:40 in Mrs Cross room.  Hope to see you there.

Varsity track girls and boys make sure to hand in your uniforms this week.  Seniors must get them in before the senior trip.  

The spring athletic banquet will be on May 17th. There will be a meal beginning at 6, student athletes eat free. Parents can purchase tickets for $5 at the principal's office. Tickets are on sale until Wednesday 11th. 

JH STU-CO will be hosting the JH Hi-Bye dance on Friday, May 13, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. To enter, please bring two non-perishable food items. These will be donated to our local food pantry. 

ALL 7/8 GRADERS will need to have all their fines and fees, lunch accounts and library books paid in full before attending Hi-Bye Dance on Friday, May 13. 

Grades 9, 10 & 11 will turn in ipads on Friday, May 13.  Make sure you have your ipad fully charged and bring your cords and chargers to return.

The Spongebob Musical will be May 20th at 7 pm and May 21st at 2 pm. Tickets go on sale 30 minutes before. Tickets prices: Free for children 5 and under; $8 for students, staff and seniors with ID; $10 for adults

CLASS SPONSORS AND STUDENTS:  Class officer applications for the 2022-2023 school year are available on the office ledge. Please follow the directions on the form and return it to Mr. Rost by Friday, May 13.

Eighth graders who plan to be class officers in the 2022-2023 school year need to fill out a class officer application located on the office ledge.  Return it to Mr. Rost by Friday, May 13th.

The Music and Theater banquet will be held on Monday, May 16th at 6 pm. A meal will be catered at the cost of $5 each- please RSVP with the number of tickets if you would like a meal by emailing Ms. Rossmiller by Tuesday, May 10th.
