You may have noticed some work happening at the athletic complex.
If you remember, our last bond issue was passed in June, 2020 which allowed us to improve the Elementary parking lot, upgrade our locker rooms/athletic bathrooms and improve our athletic facilities.
The track project was partially funded by a Department of the Interior Green Spaces grant which funded over $300k for this project.
As you see from the image above, we have some pretty amazing things starting to take place. Our football field will be moving to inside the new track, which will allow us to upgrade our softball facility. I look forward to the day that we will be able to have a football game and a softball game at the same time!
