Congrats to the Van Far Quiz Bowl team for defeating Silex to become Conference Champions! Additionally, congratulations to Cameron Jones for earning 1st place all conference! Cameron earned this honor by being the highest individual scorer at the conference event on Monday.
Juniors and Seniors: Across from the office is a sign-up for Project Prom Shirts. This year, United Credit Union is providing the shirts for Project Prom. These shirts will be at no cost to you, but you must sign up you and your guest by 3/25. Even if you aren’t sure if you’re going to prom yet, sign up for a shirt. No shirt orders will be accepted after March 25th.
7th, 8th, and 9th graders should have received a Google form to fill out for next year class selections. If you have questions about this, please send Mrs. Utterback an email . 10th and 11th graders, Mrs. Utterback will meet with you one-on-one to go over your schedule for next year in the upcoming weeks.
There will be an informational meeting on Thursday, March 10th at 7:30 am in the gym for anyone interested in trying out for 2022-2023 Varsity Cheer.
There will be a high school NHS induction on Wednesday, March 9th at 6pm in the gym. All current members and all inductees need to attend.
TODAY is the last day to buy -- Tickets for the winter athletic banquet. Athletes and coaches are free to eat. Parents/Guardians will need to purchase a ticket by Wednesday March 9th. Tickets are $5. The meal includes pulled pork, pasta salad, layered salad, dessert, and drinks. Meal will be served at 6pm and awards will follow. If you do not wish to eat you do not need to purchase a ticket.
Vandalia Youth Ball Umpire applications are available from the office ledge. Must be 15 years old to umpire. Forms must be completed and returned to City Hall or Ramsey Dickerman’s State Farm office.
Vandalia Youth ball registration ends on March 18, 2022. Forms and fees may be returned to State Farm office and to City Hall.
