Blood Drive: StuCo is sponsoring the Van-Far/Red Cross blood drive scheduled for Wednesday, March 3, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM in the high school cafeteria. Van-Far Student Council is signing up parents, teachers, friends, and other community members. For more information call 573-594-6442 and ask for Christian Rost or email crost@vf.k12.mo.us OR visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter: VanFarHS to schedule an appointment. The Red Cross will give donors rapid Covid-19 antibody tests. If you have these antibodies, they can be used in treating patients fighting the virus. Having the antibodies will not affect your chance to donate blood.
Coming Soon – The Career and Entrepreneurship class will be making baked goods starting Friday, Feb. 26th before school. Look for the posters around school for information.
FFA Week is next week (February 20th through February 27th). The dress-up days and activities are as follows:
- Tuesday February 23rd - Stue Day Tuesday Day (Dress like Mr. Stuedle), Trivia in class
- Wednesday February 24th - Waddell Wednesday (Dress like Ms. Waddell) - Game day in class
- Thursday February 25th - Thoughtful Thursday ($1 to wear hat), Movie Night (6-8:30, bring own snack)
- Friday - Muddy Truck and Tractor Day (Drive truck or tractor to school), Donuts in Mr. Stuedle's classroom before school. Wear your FFA shirt to school.
