Winter Team Sports pictures will be taken TOMORROW, December 17 after school. Make sure you have your uniforms. Schedule: 3:25 HS Cheer; 3:50 JH Boys Basketball; 4:10 JH Girls Basketball; 4:30 JH Cheer; 4:50 HS Boys Basketball. We will reschedule the HS Girls after the holiday break. Picture packets are on the ledge at the office.
The district pays for each student to take the ACT one time during their high school career. If you would like to take your free, district paid ACT this year, please sign up outside Mrs. Reading's door by Tuesday, December 22. The ACT will be given at Van-Far Tuesday, March 2. In order to participate, you must be a sophomore, junior, or senior. If you have already used your one free, district paid ACT, do not sign up again. Please see Mrs. Reading or Mrs. Utterback if you have questions.
There will be winter weights starting on our first day back from Christmas break (January 5th) and will be on every Tuesday and Thursday after. This is open to all JH and any HS students that are not playing basketball. We will start right after school in the main hallway by the trophy cases. Ending time will be no later that 5:30. NJHS and NHS are hosting a food drive through December 18 to help those in need during the holiday season. Bring your canned goods to your class sponsors. This is a class competition.
We will be holding Saturday Detention for those needing to make up attendance on Saturday, December 19 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Doors will lock at 8:00 am so you need to arrive early and bring your lunch. Sign up on the bulletin board across from the office.
