Due to our girls' team being unable to play, we will be moving Courtwarming to February 9th. All activities will be done that week as well. Senior night recognition will be on January 11th. Students interested in attending the basketball game tonight, the sign-up is on the office ledge.
StuCo members: We need volunteers to work the concession stand Monday night. We need at least 3 more volunteers. We need to make money since we have purchased concession stand goods.
Sophomore class: We are scheduled to work the concession stand tonight. Please let Mr. Rost or Mrs. Cross know if you can work. The money will help us next year when we have to pay for prom.
Teachers: please send Mr. Rost the names of your Courtwarming King and Queen candidates and send Mrs. McCurdy the names of your Redskin King and Queen candidates.
Redskin King games are going to look different this year. Each class will select 2 boys that will make a music video. The video must include the king candidates only in it. Since we are postponing Courtwarming, we will extend this deadline. Please be working on your video over Christmas break. If you are a Redskin King candidate, please see Mrs. McCurdy today for information.
Winter Team sports pictures will be taken December 17 after school. Make sure you have your uniforms. Schedule: 3:25 HS Cheer; 3:50 JH Boys Basketball; 4:10 JH Girls Basketball; 4:30 JH Cheer; 4:50 HS Boys Basketball. We will reschedule HS Girls Basketball after the holiday break.
Project Prom Quilt Raffle tickets are available at the office for all Juniors and Seniors. Please stop by and pick them up.
NJHS and NHS are hosting a food drive from December 8-18 to help those in need during the holiday season. This will be a class competition so bring your canned goods to your sponsors by the 18th. The class that wins will be given a reward the week before we leave for Christmas break. JH students, bring yours to Mrs. Robinson.
We will be holding a Saturday Detention for those needing to make up attendance on Saturday, December 12, from 8:00 am - 11:00 am. Doors will lock at 8:00 so you need to arrive early. Sign up on the bulletin board across from the office.
The ACT test will be given tomorrow. Test begins at 8:00 am, doors will be locked.
