Juniors are selling Shakespeare pizzas, for prom. Orders along with money are due Friday, October 16 to Mrs. Jones.
Reminder-Juniors, Class dues are $15 and can be dropped off to Mrs. McCurdy's room, there is a locked box to place them in or they may be paid online through the SIS Parent Portal.
The Van-Far Homecoming theme is "Home Sweet Homecoming." Dress up days are: 10/6 Tuesday: Home-run (Any sports attire or jersey) 10/7 Wednesday: Homies! (Match with your friends) 10/8Thursday: Color your Van-Far home. (Black and Gold) 10/9 Friday: At home with your class (class colors)
StuCo will be visiting 4th hour classes this week to count each class dress up day participation.
"Home Sweet Homecoming" t-shirts will be here soon. Please go ahead and pay $12 to Ms. Dunn for your shirt.
The homecoming door decoration competition will be Wednesday after school from 4-5 pm. Students may bring materials they have collected or prepared before competition begins. Ms. Dunn and Mr. Rost will call time to begin and end. At least one sponsor per class and one student per door. Please work with your class sponsors to create a plan.
Mini-Olympics on Friday will include cornhole, volleyball, tug of war, and punt-pass-kick. If you would like to participate, see Mr. Rost to sign up. You may sign up for two events.
