This scholarship was created in honor of Les Nelson, a long time Van-Far resident
who was always involved in agriculture. The student selected will be pursuing a
college degree with a major in agriculture. In addition they will have demonstrated
strengths in agriculture courses in high school, community service and activities,
extra-curricular activities, overall leadership capabilities, work experience, and will
have a financial need.
